After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University
of Alberta Darren articled with KPMG and received his C.A. designation
in 1995.
Soon after becoming a C.A. Darren left public practice and spent
nearly 10 years in senior financial positions for a variety of organizations
in the commercial real estate development, software development,
and internet service sectors. Darren is the past CFO and a founding
shareholder of Time Industrial, Inc., a company that is now listed
as Decision Dynamics Technologies Ltd. on the TSX Venture exchange.
These past experiences have helped Darren develop skills in areas
such as corporate finance, business plan development, business valuation,
corporate re-organizations, research & development, and venture
capital funding. This wide ranging skill set made Darren a great
addition to the Koehli Wickenberg Buma management team when he joined
in the fall of 2004. |
