Alison completed her Diploma in Business Administration with a major in accounting at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of Calgary in conjunction with her Certified General Accountant designation which she received in 2004.
Alison has worked in public practice for most of her career. She worked with the KWB team as a student in the early 2000s and has since worked in a number of other CPA firms around Alberta. She has a passion for helping business owners succeed in business and beyond. Alison re-joined the KWB team as the Manager of ONSight Advisory powered by KWB in 2021.
Alison and her husband have three kids. Their oldest is attending University of Alberta and younger two are in middle and high school. Their family also has an exuberant dog named Rosco and two cats, Morty and Pepper.
Alison enjoys being engaged in her kids’ school communities and loves to chaperone school activities with them whenever they will allow her to. She chaperoned a middle school science trip to Florida in 2020, and a high school theatre trip to NYC in 2024 and can’t wait to see where the next
adventure will lead.
In her spare time, Alison loves to relax with a good book and spend time in her garden growing beautiful and tasty things. Her family loves to spend the spring and summer exploring and camping all over Alberta and BC.
