THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of KWB’s Senior Leadership Team, the Business Manager oversees human resources, information technology and facilities management and actively contributes to business development and operational activities.

The objective of this position is to effectively manage, establish, control, optimize and direct all support activities for KWB and ensure the implementation of the business support function & strategy. At KWB, our strength is the efficiency with which we deliver on our products, services and internal innovations.

The Business Manager will manage daily activities, supervise work, and push toward financial and operational objectives. With strong leadership skills, the business manager is key to the day-to-day — and ultimately, long-term — success of KWB.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources

Oversight for all human resource activities.

Information Technology

Oversee current and long-term plans regarding technology.

Facilities

Oversee asset management and maintenance as required.

Business Development

Work with both marketing and sales processes to help develop long-term strategic business development initiatives and assist the team in implementing sales attainment plans.

Operational

Work with the rest of the team to ensure day to day efficiencies and to accomplish the goals set out in the Strategic Plan and the Operational Plan. Participate in the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic direction.

THE INDIVIDUAL

Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the firm and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following education, experience, and core competencies:

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential)

  • 10+ years of experience in management, human resources, business and information technology as a business manager or relevant managerial role,
  • Proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting, organizational, communication and leaderships skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries,
  • Strong implementation and delegation skills
  • Management accounting knowledge and acumen
  • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft suite of products
  • An innovative thinker who likes to take the initiative to get things done
  • Superior leadership skills with a focus in employee coaching and development

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable)

  • Significant experience in change management
  • Ability to live by and promote the existing culture
  • Strategic planning
