On April 15, 2025, the Government of Canada announced a temporary six-month tariff relief program to support Canadian businesses affected by new U.S. trade measures.
This support is available to businesses that import certain U.S.-origin goods used in:
- Manufacturing and processing
- Food and beverage packaging
- Health care and public safety services
If your business relies on U.S. imports in these categories, you may qualify to have tariffs refunded or waived.
